The Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge was only about 5 kilometers away, allowing for easy exploration of nature without having to drive far. the comfortable bed in the room made my stay pleasant for a solo traveler eager to explore, but the dining options could use a bit more variety.

Also, several maintenance issues in the room could detract from the experience—like a shower head pointing at a wall. A clogged sink and peeling paint in the jetted tub area. Minor inconveniences, but none made for a special stay.

We relaxed at the indoor/outdoor pool and tried our luck at the casino. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the jetted tub was a great bonus. We also enjoyed some late-night snacks from the food outlets. Overall, it was a fun getaway!
